New Gold Glove App Coming Soon!
On Monday, testing began with more than 60 Trosky family members. Trosky Teams, existing Gold Glove users, Academy students, and investors are building together.
The new and improved experience guides players, parents, and coaches through daily development. Body, tools, makeup, and recruiting programs prepare for the road less traveled. The social media-like experience delivers the best of Coach Trosky and friends.
Imagine accessing Yoga for Infielders or a Nate Trosky mental game talk any time of day. Content in short “micro-learning bursts” delivers faster growth. Longer exercises provide deep, reflective learning. Mind Gym also includes gamified brain development games for all people building an elite mindset. And so much more!
Thank you to the beta testers. Like a great coach, you are providing real information to help us sharpen the experience.
Trosky Insider Tip of the Week: Efficiency of Movement, One Step at a Time
"Mastery in baseball is built one step at a time. It’s about working through a sequence with focus on efficiency of movements with repeatable actions that translate to the game.
Let’s review a four-part sequence from a recent session:
Notice the emphasis on effortless movement. When your posture is strong and your mindset is relaxed, everything becomes smooth. Tension creates inefficiency; ease creates mastery.
Remember, your footwork is the foundation. When it’s clean, your throws, positioning, and reactions improve naturally. Commit to the sequence. Keep grinding, keep learning, and most importantly—stay ready.

“Coach, what do I need to do to become the starting second baseman?"
Before the tough conversation, discuss the challenge faced with a friend or parent. This is your sounding board. Once ready, commit to listen like the player below. Keep the goal of finding the best solution in mind. Ask hard questions, no matter how you feel. The sounding board is batting practice. The tough conversation helps the player “get his mind right.” Everyone wins.
Conversely a complaint without a plan decreases clarity. Complain once and you “have complained.” Doing this habitually makes a complainer. Commit to provide, find, or be the solution. Coach will appreciate you hitting it head on. The Trosky Academy student communicates above his years.
